Wordless Wednesday -- St. Bernadette / Lourdes Grotto and Garden

Every year, we try to spend our 4th of July in Mt. Shasta City, northern California, where my parents live and I went to middle and high school. When we're up there visiting, we always attend St. Anthony Catholic Church. We were excited to see their grotto, resembling the one at Lourdes, France, honoring Mary and St. Bernadette. John Michael LOVED being there. It was so peaceful with the running stream and fountains, native flowers and plants and lots of butterflies.

John Michael was enthralled with St. Bernadette...

Seems so many of our photos consist of John Michael running away...

Just us girls...
